The Outdoorsy Holiday Gift List

Here at XTreme XTraining, we just LOVE outdoor activities of all kinds.  So it's no secret that there are gifts that many of us outdoorsy folk would enjoy having even if we don't ask specifically.

CHILDREN: Let's start with the kids!  Adventerra Games has three new great Swiss designed, ecological puzzles (ages 2 and up) that teach about endangered species, water, and land conservation.  These are really well thought out and educational while still being fun and engaging. Another one of their offerings is Power Haus which challenges children to use home energy wisely.

Popcorn Tins-These are all-time favorites because they are delicious, stay fresh and travel well.  Take them along for campsite fun or munching by the fire.  You can find these everywhere from big box stores to your local pharmacies.

Fly Fishing Set & Fishing Caddy - These two make great gifts for the fishing enthusiast.

The Superfly Fly Fishing Set comes with everything you need with an easy to put together rod and line. It's a complete kit! I used one like this at Crystal Springs Resort in NJ and it is very comfortable to handle. SimplySuperfly.com

The Fishing Caddy is perfect for dockside, wharf, or bridge fishing, really anywhere you'll have a flat even surface.  Comes with two fishing rod holders on each side, a carrying bale, and my favorite, a padded swiveling seat!  Pop the top to store your catch of the day and tote everything home. Made in the USA. Brilliant! TheFishingCaddy.com

Can Holders and Bottle Openers - go right along with that fishing tackle. Really these can also be used at home as they adhere to any smooth surface and remove easily. Use them again and again.  Peel them off and put them where ever you like...in your car, truck, RV, camper, etc.

Wrapping Everything Up, (Literally): Prank Gift Boxes - These add an extra level of suspense and fun. Imagine unwrapping...a Pasta Recycler!  They will be so relieved that whatever you gave them is NOT that.  Made in the USA (of course).
